Mothers Helping Others

purpose

We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow-men; and along those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects. --Herman Melville

2009 Highlights

The St. Charles Mothers' Club is pleased and proud to report another successful year. This year we donated over $10,750 to community members and local charitable organizations.

Breakfast Bar Program

We are especially proud of the continued success with our Breakfast Bar Program. We provide breakfast to children in need at three District 303 elementary schools.

It is unfortunate that such a need exists in our community, but we are grateful to those who helped us fulfill this need.

We would like to give special thanks to the student councils of Bell Graham and Wild Rose Elementary Schools for helping us in our breakfast bar drives.

Scholarships

The SCMC is proud to announce $5,000 from the The Sherry Costello Scholarship Fund was awarded to local mothers in financial need who are furthering their education in order to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
